LinkedIn Top Companies List Alphabet and Amazon Top Ranks

LinkedIn Top Companies List Alphabet and Amazon Top Ranks Job seekers are most interested in working at Google’s parent company Alphabet over other U.S companies, according to LinkedIn’s Top Companies list for 2017. LinkedIn analyzed billions of actions taken by members of the social network and looked at people’s interest in a company’s jobs, interest in a company’s brand and employees and companies’ employee retention. According to the resulting list, Alphabet came out on top with Amazon ranking at number 2. Alphabet scored most interest because it gives employees opportunity and resources to tackle problems ranging from “creating self-driving cars to impeding extremism,” according to LinkedIn. The network said job seekers are also interested in Amazon because of its reputation for innovation. In third place came Facebook, which drew interest because it gives “employees the power to experiment at levels never before imagined,” according to LinkedIn. Rounding out the top five were Salesforce and Uber. The full list ranked 50 companies and included Apple, Tesla, Time Warner and The Walt Disney Company in the top 10 of most in-demand places for job seekers.

What types of businesses interest you? The range of franchises available to you is practically as wide as your imagination. Write a list of your strengths and weaknesses. How do they match your interests? A franchise coach can help you with this process. How much time and effort are you willing to dedicate to your business? It’s not an all-or-nothing question. Some franchises require fewer hours of work than others. But you need to know what you require. Is it a 24-7 commitment or maybe something you can combine with an existing career?
